Please be reminded that there are changes coming to your golf experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s now less than a week to go until the launch of Golf Australia\u2019s new technology platform on October 2, 2025.<\/p>\n

This once-in-a-generation change will see us transition away from the 25-year-old GOLF Link system to a new, modern platform that delivers enhanced services to Australia\u2019s 1,900 golf clubs and venues, and the more than 450,000 golf members around the country.<\/p>\n

For golfers, there are three key changes coming on October 2:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0The new Official Golf Australia App <\/strong><\/p>\n

This will replace the existing GA Handicap App. The new app retains the handicap lookup feature you already use, while adding a range of exciting tools to enhance your golfing experience. The app will be available to update or download from October 2.<\/p>\n

2. A fresh golfer portal at the new home of golf in Australia – GOLF.com.au<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also launching on October 2, Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia\u2019s new website will feature a streamlined, mobile-friendly golfer dashboard. Through your account, you\u2019ll be able to view and track your GA Handicap history like never before.<\/p>\n

3. GOLF Link number becomes Golf ID<\/strong><\/p>\n

Members\u2019 old GOLF Link numbers will now become your permanent Golf ID for life. Unlike GOLF Link, where the number changed if you moved clubs, a Golf ID stays with members wherever they play. For new golfers, registering for a Golf ID is free, and it provides instant access to the Official Golf Australia App and a personalised golfer portal on GOLF.com.au. Existing GOLF Link members will need to verify their new Golf ID when the system goes live on Oct 2.<\/p>\n
